Pallavi Panda

Hello! I am Dr. Panda and I am an Economist working in the areas of development economics, gender, demography, and health economics. I am an Associate Professor of Economics within the School of Business at Geneseo. My research work involves evaluating policy effectiveness in improving child health outcomes, women's labor force participation, and malnutrition in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. I teach classes in introductory microeconomics, women in the economy, health economics, and economic development. Apart from my love of economics, I also love traveling, hiking, and cooking with my husband and I am a trained Indian Classical Dancer!
