Geneseo Dance Ensemble students (SUNY Geneseo/Matt Burkhartt)
SUNY Geneseo's Department of Theatre and Dance Studies proudly presents the Geneseo Dance Ensemble in Pursuing Connections featuring works by student choreographers with 31 performers. The artfully directed concert will be presented in the Alice Austin Theatre on November 10–12 at 7:30 p.m., and November 13 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 and are available at the Student Association Ticket Office.
Student artists will feature new choreography, including seniors Elizabeth Allegro, Kaitlyn Eck, Samantha Percy, Emma Piwko, Mary Roberts, and Grace Shannon, and Kinesiology and dance composition classes.
The performance is produced by Geneseo Dance Ensemble. The artistic director, curator, and producer of the performance is professor of dance studies Jonette Lancos. Lancos is a recipient of the Chancellor's Award of Excellence in Teaching. Student assistants include Allegro, Percy, Piwko, and Roberts.
