Gina Billington

Gina Billington is the new content marketing director in advancement. Her responsibilities include coordinating the donor calendar, managing the Phone-a-thon, increasing donations to Geneseo’s Annual Fund, and marketing for the Office of Advancement. Prior to Geneseo, she worked in digital marketing for Frontier Communications and Kodak. Billington holds a BS in marketing from St. John Fisher College. In her free time, she loves working out, trying new places to eat, traveling to new cities, and hanging out with friends and family. She also loves makeup and “does makeup on the side every once in a while.”


Amy Brotherton

Amy Brotherton is a university-based teacher educator supervising student teachers in the School of Education. She comes to Geneseo after 31 years in education, 27 of them at the LeRoy Jr./Sr. High School. Brotherton holds a Master of Science in education and a Bachelor of Science in education. She enjoys being with her family, golfing, vacationing by the water, reading a good book, and walking with her golden retriever, Lucy.


Michael Carrick

Michael Carrick is a new adjunct lecturer for the philosophy department. His teaching area/research interests lie in applied ethics, particularly animal ethics, and before joining Geneseo, he taught several classes at the University of Rochester. Carrick earned a BA from the University of Vermont and an MA from the University of Colorado, Boulder; he is now ABD at the University of Rochester. Carrick professes to be a bookworm who also enjoys finding and trying new breweries. 

Jessica Dunstan

Jessica Dunstan is a new adjunct lecturer in managerial accounting for the School of Business. She holds a Master of Science in accounting from Texas A&M Commerce and a Bachelor of Science in liberal arts with a minor in accounting from Brigham Young University–Idaho. Her hobbies include skiing, biking, hiking, kayaking, and running. 


Camille Epolito

Camille Epolito ’21 (psychology) is the Geneseo Orientation/Late Knight assistant in the Department of Student Life. She helps plan and prepare for Geneseo Late Knight events as well as assisting in all things related to GLK. She enjoys dabbling in painting and crocheting and loves “reading all types of books and talking about those books for hours.” In her free time, she likes to rewatch favorite shows and movies.  


Madison Folley

Madison Folley ’21 is a new admissions counselor in enrollment management. She helps recruit new students for the College, runs the tour guide program, and plans the college’s fall events. A recent grad, Folley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from SUNY Geneseo. She loves exploring Buffalo in her free time and describes herself as “an absolute foodie—I love to try new foods and enjoy challenging myself cooking!” 


Stephen Miskell

Stephen Miskell is a new adjunct lecturer in the School of Business; he teaches economics and business courses and is interested in researching strategic planning. He comes to Geneseo with more than 25 years in education, both as a teacher and as an administrator (building principal and school business administrator). Miskell holds an EdD from St. John Fisher College; an MBA from Syracuse University; and BS, MS, and CAS degrees from SUNY Brockport. In his free time, he likes to hike in Letchworth State Park and spend as much time as possible with his three grandchildren.


Sophia Piazza

Sophia Piazza ’21 is the new Title IX prevention education specialist in the Office of Diversity and Equity. She designs and facilitates the annual Title IX trainings for all clubs, organizations, and athletic teams; runs a series of additional educational programs called Title IX Tuesdays; and manages the office interns, social media page, and website content. Piazza just earned her BA in communication from SUNY Geneseo with minors in math and French. She spends her free time on hobbies like writing, reading, and painting.
