Preeminent Asian American actor BD Wong, star of theatre (most recently The Great Leap by Lauren Yee), films (The Jurassic Park franchise), television series (SVU: Law and Order; Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens; Mr. Robot), video games, and the first Asian American to win a Tony Award for Acting in M. Butterfly by David Henry Hwang, posed for a photo showing his support for SUNY Geneseo's GENseng.
Founded in 1999 by Professor of Theatre Randy Barbara Kaplan, GENseng is Geneseo's Asian American Performance Ensemble. The ensemble is the only one of its kind in the 64-campus SUNY-wide system and presents contemporary Asian American works every semester.
