Counseling Services Group Program
Groups have the advantage of providing additional treatment services as well as offering support from peers experiencing similar concerns or circumstances.
Skills Groups are time-limited and psycho-educational, meaning that they focus on providing new information and teaching new skills. They are similar to a mini workshop series. An initial counseling appointment is required.
Support Groups are drop in groups designed to provide students with connection and coping around a specific theme. Students do NOT need to be engaged in counseling first.
Process Groups are ongoing. These groups help members to develop greater insight and to improve their relationships through their interactions with others in the group. An initial counseling appointment is required.
