The musical theatre minor is intended to develop skills and provide backgrounds in music, dance, and theatre; required each semester is participation in musical theatre productions in the areas of performance, costumes, lighting, sound, scenic, props, dramaturgy, stage management, and more.

- MUSC 141, 241, 341 Voice; OR
- MUSC 151, 251, 351 Voice for the Performance Option
Dance requirement: chosen from the following, with at least 2 credits each (4 credits)
- At the 200 or 300 level: MUSC 201; DANC 101-104; 201-204; 301-303
