Multicultural Programs and Services at SUNY Geneseo
The Office of Multicultural Programs and Services at Geneseo is a component of the Center for Community in the Division of Student and Campus Life. It is the mission of the Center to foster the development of responsible, productive, and engaged citizens through collaborative efforts within the Geneseo community. The Coordinator serves as the manager of the office and provides leadership and guidance to the campus community on matters related to diversity. Sponsored programs promote diversity awareness and an inclusive, respectful campus community. Specific attention is given to retention efforts of ALANA (African American, Latino, Asian, Native American) students. The Coordinator also serves as one of many resources for any student who is having difficulty making the adjustment to life on the Geneseo campus.
