Research Interests

• The development of psychopathology
• Factors that contribute to the risk for behavioral and emotional disturbance, as well as protection from it
• How people cope with and adapt to the challenges they face

Student Involvement

• Research assistants are responsible for the following tasks:
  • Generating ideas for new research
  • Developing research protocols for new studies
  • Completing training on a diverse set of lab procedures
  • Collecting data from research participants
  • Analyzing data and preparing conference presentations and journal manuscripts
  • Recruiting and training new members of the lab team

Recruitment Opportunities

• Dr. Lynch is currently accepting 2 new research assistants for Spring 2025 and Fall 2025.

Student Skills and Qualifications

• Students must specifically be interested in research content.
• Completion of PSYC 251 preferred.
